Hugo Shaw, recently left the academy after 3 years and signed a 2 year contract with Portsmouth FC Academy. We hope to be able to continue our excellent work and maybe see some more stars of the future getting their next move.
We have introduced the Ball Launcher Pro (above) to enable to us to develop the goalkeepers with the required repetition. Endorsed by many Premier league Clubs, used by England Lionesses, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur FC, we feel this will elevate the coaching the goalkeepers and players receive to a new level.
We run our goalkeeping academy, which is fun and educational at Charters School, Sunningdale, on an excellent 3G surface.
GK Academy (Sundays) – Ages 9 to 17 – Charters School, Sunningdale – 4.15pm to 5.45pm
The goalkeepers receive an excellent standard of coaching working in small groups. with the emphasis on fun and development.
The academies are run to a carefully designed syllabus to allow our goalkeepers to work on their skills and develop their talents, also having fun along the way. The syllabus is designed to help the goalkeepers learn and gain confidence to take back to their schools and clubs for their games.
